Funding for the One Year Course

If you are an EU citizen (and of certain other European countries) then it may help you to know that funding in the form of loans may be available, and details are available upon request once you have been accepted onto a course.  Note that you are unlikely to qualify, however, if you already have an outstanding student loan.

For information on financial assistance to support your learning with a Career Development Loan, please visit www.direct.gov.uk/adultlearning or contact 0800 100 900.

So - do please apply now, as we have already started interviewing. I do hope you are able to join us. Not only will you have a good time and learn a great deal but you will also make many new friends which, in films, you will need.

Please feel free to contact me personally with any queries, and you are also welcome to make an informal visit to our studios upon appointment.

NB The old Individual Learning Account Scheme (ILAs) for funding purposes run by the Department of Education and Employment (www.dfee.gov.uk/ila) was discontinued in 2001.
